Treasures We Cherish in Exposé
In the recent past, I cleared a family home where my parents had lived for almost forty years and my brother had lived for ten. Every room was filled to capacity and I spent time going through every closet, drawer, box and bag. There were many things I wanted to find and didn't, but there were things that I was pleased to find: my mother's calligraphy pens and some of her beautiful calligraphy, things from my dad's military service, and special toys that belonged to my brother and me. I realized that they evoke memories of my childhood and my family. I cherish these items and the memories I have of that time in my life.
My years in Junior Woman's Club, Woman's Club and Exposé, do the same thing. Through the years I have made many good friends and enjoyed many special parties, programs, and events. These are memories I will cherish for the rest of my life.
I am honored to be the President of Exposé this year and in light of our theme, "Treasures We Cherish in Exposé", I hope we each make new friends, strengthen those friendships we already have and make memories that we will cherish for a lifetime.
